However, the core claim—that the CIA and Mossad masterminded the 2019 attacks—is based primarily on inference. The author suggests that because these events ultimately benefited Western interests, the U.S. must be responsible—a conclusion that rests on a post hoc ergo propter hoc logical fallacy.
Ultimately, the text functions as an opinionated editorial that is effective at identifying coincidences to support a specific worldview. While it highlights provocative correlations between maritime security and economic sovereignty, it lacks the “smoking gun” evidence required to prove its most extreme claims of foreign orchestration. Nevertheless, the article has merit, and it was good of you to post it.
I tend to ignore “official” findings. I hate the word “official” because it implies something is both true and final, which is seldom the case. There are always political interests at the heart of anything claiming to be an official investigation. These investigations—including those by the FBI and Interpol—concluded that the 2019 attacks were carried out by a local ISIS group with transnational links. Western media and think tanks claim the Amaq News Agency issued a brief bulletin in Arabic stating that “the perpetrators of the attack targeting the citizens of coalition countries and Christians in Sri Lanka were Islamic State fighters.” They further allege that this initial claim was disseminated through the group’s official channels on Telegram.
ABC News and the Combatting Terrorism Center (CTC) similarly claimed that later that same day, ISIS issued a longer, formal communiqué. This statement reportedly provided specific details, specifying that the “blessed attack” had targeted Christians during their “blasphemous holiday” and listed the kunya (fighting names) of seven suicide bombers: Abu Ubaida, Abu al-Mukhtar, Abu Khalil, Abu al-Bara’a, Abu Muhammad, Abu Abdullah, and Abu Hamza.
The problem with all these sources is that we are asked to trust they possess the original primary source material, yet they never reveal it. Consequently, there is no way to independently verify any of these claims, which reinforces the idea that we are being forced to rely on “gatekeepers.” When one attempts to locate the primary source material, it either appears non-existent or cannot be found. Without this documentation, these Western narratives remain unverified, which is why I am disinclined to give them much credence.
At the time of the Easter bombings, I felt something was amiss. The FBI’s rapid intervention in a foreign jurisdiction like Sri Lanka—despite their documented history of “manufacturing” cases—should be a cause for scrutiny, not confidence. While the Sri Lankan government eventually suggested local political involvement and the FBI maintained the ISIS narrative, I do not believe the stories presented are the final chapter. I put forward my own views at the time and was dismissed. Knowing how intelligence agencies operate, one must be suspicious of their involvement. Would the FBI or any other agency tamper with evidence if it suited their national interests? You bet.

“This response from Darini is bizarre. Instead of addressing my arguments, she has opted for ad hominem attacks. I am unimpressed by this inability to engage with ideas rather than people.
My essay did not accuse her of ‘conspiracy theories’; I simply noted that her article relies on speculation and circumstantial evidence. If she has actual evidence, I invite her to present it. Claims of ‘knowing the truth’ mean nothing to a reader without proof.
Her obsession with the speed of my reply is a total distraction. I read and write quickly—skills honed over a lifetime of daily writing and training in critical thinking. I do not use AI; I simply use the standard spelling and grammar tools built into platforms like Gmail. These accusations are irrelevant to the actual debate.
Furthermore, referencing Marco Rubio is a non-sequitur and more of the same fallacious thinking. Because she chose to respond with crude personal attacks rather than intellectual substance, she isn’t getting my name. I have no time for such rubbish and will not comment on her work again.”
Given Darini’s US connections, it is easy to use her methodology of coincidence counting to establish that She is the Master-Mind, or may be Mistress-Mind. The CIA has a long history of recruiting academics to work for them, and they send out kites that would create responses that they use. Darini had also suggested that the Tsunami that hit Sri Lanka in 2004 was artificially created by Western forces using underwater nuclear explosions. She had also proposed that the Ditwah cyclone that hit Sri Lanka was created by the West using weather-alteration technologies that the Pentagon possesses. So, she positions herself as a strong anti-US champion and builds an echo chamber of such persons whose names are syphoned by her to the CIA. If that is mere speculation, then what Darini-Rajasinghama-XYZ (real name?) writes is hyper-speculation and not very convincing conspiracy thoery. Why does Thuppahi publish such drivel? The Qanon and Pizzagate conspiracy theorists (who claimed that the Clintons and the Elites were running pedophile group that ruled the world) were perhaps accidentally closer to the truth, with the Epstein files coming out, and they have done much better than Darini and her unhinged theories.
THESE ARE SERIOUS CHARGES …. perhaps defamatory. While I do not have the expertise to assess the type of world that this author draws into his//her accusations, I can assure readers that DARINI is not part of a Deep-throat US agency.
The argument that DARINI has geenerated “Drivel” and is “unhinged” in her reasoning. of course, is a serious criticism and is therefore a set of readings NOW iN DIGITAL SPACE for earnest consideration.

There are no serious charges. What I said was that GIVEN Darini’s “methodology of counting coincidences”, THEN we can even argue that she is a CIA agent. In fact she is not, because her methodology is false and totally too naive for a serious agency like the CIA. She does not check her views against established fact (e.g., an A-level physics student could have told her that the energy scales needed to create a Tsunami are well beyond the capabilities of the human race). But her approach of coincidence counting is similar to what some religious true-believers use to, say, establish the identity of the Messiah (e.g., looking for seeming coincidences in the life of Jesus and what the Prophets are said to have foretold). The CIA is unlikely to hire nut-heads unless forced to do so by a politician nut-head like Trump.
