Facing NW Goonewardena’s Racist Comments

NW Goonewardena= Comment in Thuppahi  at THIS ITEM ……………………………. https://thuppahis.com/2018/09/13/anagarika-dharmapala-in-search-of-a-rounded-evaluation/

GET LOST YOU SOB, MICHAEL ROBERTS, THE PRODUCT OF A ONE NIGHT STAND BETWEEN A AFRICAN SOLDIER STATIONED IN SRI LANKA, AND A SRI LANKAN HARLET. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO SEND YOUR SHIT TO ME. I LEFT YOUR SHIT BLOG ALMOST AS SOON AS I CAME IN TO IT BECAUSE IT IS EVIDENT TO ANYONE THAT YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A SOCIAL PARASITE SUFFERING FROM A DEEP INFERIORITY COMPLEX. NOTE THAT EVEN AFTER 30 YEARS OF SERVICE IN UNIVERSITIES, MOSTLY AT ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY, THIS REPULSIVE PARASITE COULD NOT MAKE IT PAST THE GRADE OF SENIOR LECTURER. THIS PIECE OF SHIT SHOULD BE MADE PERSONAE NONGRATIA TO SRI LANKA. A IDIOT WHO WRITES “RESEARCH PAPERS” BASED ON AN INTERACTION OF AN AUSTRALIAN FIELDER ON THE BOUNDARY LINE AND TWO SRI LANKAN SPECTATORS!!! HIS SO-CALLED “RESEARCH ARTICLES” HAVE A BIBLIOGRAPHY CONSISTING OF 75% OF HIS OWN WRITING. A PARASITE, AN INFERIOR BEING, AND A CLOWN – THAT SUMS UP THIS UNFORTUNATE BIRTH OF AN ILLEGI5IMATE CHILD.

When “NW GOONEWARDENA” injected THIS highly abusive comment alluding to my supposed ancestry in a Comment within the Website that I run, several friends suggested that I should not respond and that I should delete the pejorative comment. That suggestion is well-meaning, but I have decided against such a course.

I am proceeding, here, to present the RACIALLY-PREJUDICED COMMENT as the frontispiece item.

It is, thereafter, framed by (A) commentary from other friends that mark the set of stark Sinhala racist prejudices that clearly distinguish Goonewardena’s thinking; and by (B) providing a clarification of the partial African strands in my ancestry via a father born and bred in Barbados.

That I begin course A with the scathing and incisive critique of Goonewardena penned by a friend named Jane Russell: a set of contentions that is both educational and meaningful. Jane is an English lady historian with a Peradeniya University doctorate who has chosen to settle in Sri Lanka. The lines of her critique are WHAT MATTERS.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for sending this diatribe. It is significant in indicating how much racist hatred still disfigures the mental states of some Sri Lankans.

This is someone who is riven by schizophrenia perhaps with elements of paranoia That is evidenced by the sole use of capital letters, a total lack of punctuation and the violent language, wholly distanced from facts. This is language meant to invoke rage in the receiver because the sender is so convulsed with hatred that they wish only to create a scenario that will lead to physical violence.  This person has clearly lost their humanity and wishes only to have an excuse to destroy life. The four great Buddhist virtues of the Brahma vihara, ie Muditha, Karuna, Metta and Upekha, have been thrown to the bin. Anagarika Dharmapala had some kind of excuse for his virulence — not a reason of course because in this aspect, Dharmapala had lost his reason — but an excuse in that he was operating in an environment of colonialism where the power lay with British imperialists and their  favoured groups, ie Christians. But this person has no excuse whatever and most definitely has lost his reason ie his upekha or equanimity. He should be or is in Angoda.  (I presume it is a man but it could also be an equally twisted woman, though that seems less likely). Either way, one is moved to pity such a person, alienated as they are from their humanity by such dreadful neuroses. Fortunately, this person does not have Dharmapala’s influence on society.

I’m sorry you have to be the object of this person’s insane ramblings. You are not a psychiatrist who is trained to handle the transferences of a victim of madness.  But at least you are a ‘wise old owl ‘of the Sri Lankan adage and know how to cope.

warmest regards, Jane

Thank you, Michael,

You have pondered on this gentleman’s words in far greater depth than I have.  And so, you have observed and detected matters such as purity in birth and implicit caste consciousness. Sadly, I am guilty of giving him no more than a passing glance.

However, as an English teacher of 12 to 18-year-olds for 50 years I was slightly unimpressed with your writer’s spelling. He has used words such as ILLEGISIMATE, NONGRATIA and HARLET which do not appear in my dictionary. You have also made a study of his exposed orifices which, presumably, you have found to be quite fascinating.

I owe him an apology for not paying more attention to his scholarly affirmations. You, however, seem impressed by his enlightened and perspicacious views on marriage. You may also perceive for him a career in the priesthood where Good Christians could flock to sit under his pulpit.

Enough said, and may I now wish you well,

Your alleged heritage is interestingly presented, and a sign of the hysterical comment that follows.

Dear Michael,

I am so sorry you have received this abusive email. Some people are nasty and worth avoiding. Please ignore and carry on with your life.

Wishing you all the best,

If you disagree with someone’s ideas and analyses you should be able to counter them with rational arguments. Personal insults are mostly a reflection on those who make such insults.

A7: Email Note from John Rogers in USA, 24 August 2025

I agree with CR. Michael: you should erase the comment on Thuppahis.

A8: Email Note  from Errol Fernando in Melbourne, 24 August 2025

With innumerable people on your mailing list, dear Michael, it is inevitable that there will be some variety in the responses. How boring if everyone responded the same way!  If one in a million comes up with a different view, simply read, shrug shoulders and put it out of mind.

Dear Michael,
The person or bot who sent that message was clearly trying to Silence you and drive your blog off-line. So, please disregard.
There are concerted ongoing attempts to silence alternative and critical perspectives and voices at this time of global turbulence and powershift..
Please keep sharing your messages and perspectives on Thuppahsi which many of us appreciate, also for providing an alternative space to mainstream narratives amid ongoing attempts to game our history, memory, and indeed the Archive and Historical Record itself given digitalization and generative AI.
In solidarity, with warm regards,

C: The Roberts  Biographical  Ancestry

My pater was named Thomas Webb  Roberts and was born in Barbados  in 1881 to middle class Black African parents who had the wherewithal to send their son to the elite Harrison College in an era where that colonial island was dominated by the White Barbadian personnel. TW proved bright enough to secure a scholarship to Hertford  College  in Oxford University. Thereafter he secured a  post in  the British colonial order in 1901 —  no mean feat. He  opted to serve in the island of Ceylon and thus became a member of the Ceylon Civil Service from 1901 till he retired  in  1935 or so. His  English wife bore him numerous children, but succumbed to disease in Colombo circa 1922. TW then married a Sri Lankan lady  from Matara, one Miriam Perera (whose mother was a Bastiansz and thus brought a Burgher side to our family).

TW and Miriam on their wedding day

My pater’s  last post was Galle and he loved the place – thereby choosing to settle in the Fort within Galle when he retired. I was born in a rented house in Pedlar Street in the Fort in 1938.

Our sense of ethnic identity within the family was therefore quite distinct: given patronomic weightage, we were Barbadian (or “Bajan” as  the West Indians would say). But that identity had no roots in Sri Lanka then — so that our ethnic identity was odd bod; metaphorically speaking, we were neither flesh nor  fowl. When aged eight or nine I have a vivid memory of a schoolboy at St Aloysius (a Muslim Moor I think) asking me “What are You”. I recall that I did not answer. In my mind I was just a “Roberts” ….  and I certainly did not consider myself Burgher. Neither did my sisters. Indeed, none of the Burghers in Galle would have considered us Burgher.

But consider the wider island setting ……..

For ONE:  there were quite a few lineages in Sri Lanka named “Roberts.” These families were either “Burgher” or “Eurasian” in the terminology deployed in Ceylon/Sri Lanka [noting here that one of the Ratnajinendra lineages — Sinhala of  the Navandanna caste  in lineage roots — took on the name  of “Roberts”  as they consolidated their socio-political position in the early 20th century. It is probably as a Burgher that the authoress Karen Roberts [now alas passed away] is widely known in  the international  literary world.

For ANOTHER:  this meant that my name marked me as Burgher to those unfamiliar with our  family history. Most Sri Lankans would have considered me to be a Burgher — even though I did not see myself as one. Earlson Forbes in Sydney, a friend from Peradeniya University days in the late 1950s, was openly stunned when I informed a small cluster of ‘good Sri Lankans’ that I was NOT Burgher. He exclaimed  “I always  thought you were  Burgher.”

But, then, he was not of Galle!

What I am underlining here is the distinctly ODD-BOD position I and my family  occupied in the  Ceylon/Sri Lankan socio-political firmament.

AND …. YES …. the Barbadian (aka “Bajun”) lineage roots via my father makes me a Kaberi of sorts.

THE  KABERI: this label does not figure prominently in the census statisics of British Ceylon, independent Ceylon or independent Sri Lanka as far as I know. However, in  the course of their colonial conquests from the 16th century onwards the Portuguese, Dutch and British had significant clusters of  African troops and other personnel in their service. These people are identified in the literature as either “Kaffir” or “Kaberi” (also  spelt, more  correctly, as Kaaberi).

It  will now be my task to  delve into the historical literature with the aid of  other researchers and  expand on our knowledge of the Black African personnel and their impact on the island  and its people. TPS has already placed several items on this topic, including essays by Shihan de Silva Jayasuriya [see below]; but Goonewardena’s  racist reaction is now spurring me to delve further into the historical records so as to widen and consolidate our stock of knowledge.

Hodi Heleyi! Heleyi-Yaah!

Dont worry, Michael. The man has shown himself and his emptiness.

Gutter racism is the club used to batter Michael Roberts for his balanced views on the Island’s ethnic/religious divide.
Most right thinking Sinhala Buddhists would rather have been attacked by the Cholas than being defended by this psychopathic sewer rat.

  3. Earlson Forbes

    Hi Michael

I have always considered you to be ‘A gentleman and a Scholar’. Cream 0f Peradeniya University which has risen to the top.

One question:- Is it not appropriate to call a town dweller from Galle, a Burgher.

    • ANSWER TO QUESTION = The latter sense of “Burgher” was not in use in the island Ceylon in British times or post-1948. So, it is as an ethnic identity that we are expected to deploy the term.

  4. Earlson Forbes

    Yes Michael.
The observation regarding a ‘town dweller’ being appropriately called’ burgher’ was made light-heartedly to comments made about you by an intellectual lightweight.

    Hi Michael
Your site evokes warm hearts, kind reflections – it dispels the aralu-bulu-nelli of weasel political concoctions about race. The sheer puhu-manya behind this fellow’s odorous heaving-up is perhaps characteristic of what is afflicting Lanka – this hooniyama society seeks to exorcise – these obstacles to Development. Such corrosive virulence must surely come from a mortal fear lurking in that paathala-lokaya – he/she subsists in. Reminded me of:
Quote: ” The “obnoxiousness” of the Asuchi’s served a specific philosophical purpose: self-mortification. By subjecting themselves to what most people found repulsive, they believed they were exhausting their karma and preparing the soul for liberation (moksha). Leave that to readers imaginations! Living in cemeteries, eating excrement. They had a reasoning still – however grating. This fellow has none! We all create impressions – you can at once recognise an aura, a glowing presence, when someone enters a room.. You are that to my mind. He, on the other hand, fears your erudition might dredge up something misbegotten about himself. He is so virulently against truth, just the way todays Trumpian/Israeli verbal gymnastics on TV evoke a repulsiveness in most sane people.

Personally your kin, Gilbert Roberts taught English alongside my mother who taught 3 languages & Math at St Johns Panadura. When my mother referred A Clockwork Orange to him, asking if I at 14 should be allowed to read it – he came out “Let him know the world Mrs…!” His forceful championing of a young man’s right-to-know has stayed with me for life! Its underlying theme was about “Free Will & Government Control”. Of course Stanley Kubrik’s film version was even more ‘excitingly’ violent & graphic.

This fellow, if he is an Aussie, will know that ultimate destination HIS Karma might drag him to: Its called the LONG DROP in that Aussie Institution called the DUNNY – where creepy crawlies subsist! Just ignore these nutjobs – they spring up everywhere!

The English whom I ‘fraternise’ with now – used to be comfortable knowing, as Jeremy Paxton put it, they are “a mongrel race.” Today however with the ill-winds of Right-wing “ruptures” blowing across from the US there is a comical/political urging to ‘out’ Migrants imagining it will win votes – they are sadly mistaken – without migrants Britain will grind to a halt!

I myself after my family’s long 26 year sojourn in West & Central Africa – then in England and Now in Both England & Portugal – see no need for Identity at all. We – that is my family of 5 children, their partners and my 6 grandchildren are TCK’s anyways with a distinctly high mobility & acceptance. In Portugal they shout across the street “Rodrigo!” when they see me with an unmistakeable natural joyousness! My family has origins traceable 4 centuries to the Chatims (Portuguese term for the Setties) on my fathers side. They appear in the Thombo of 1612 in Negombo. They were of the Merchant Class. The Tana Vaisya.

    listen to the first line:
“Athuru Mithuru Damba Diva Thuru Raja Kapuru Settiya”

Camphor was the Gold my ancestors brought in & Gems was a market they controlled; my great-grandfather was in Idalgashinna. He was known as “Puwak Hetti Rala” the first man to export arecanut. He gifted Madampe Cemetery grounds. The earthworks for Bunds of the Victoria Bridge across the Kelani was from his lands. Before that it was a”Bridge of Boats.” Here’s the rub. We are all so beholden to Church & State we never thought of questioning ‘their-gospel’! Talking of Gospel (s)- when he died his widow – shaken at realising they were living in very paternalistic times – physically handed over a clutch of Title Deeds to the Catholic Church – to a trusted ‘saviour of souls’ – for ‘safe-keeping’. In the course of time the Church got ‘used’ to ‘managing’ these properties. When two 1st cousin Advocates of the Supreme Court (one JER & one BAR) filed action asking for the properties to be returned (a whole street of properties past Pettah towards Mutwal) the Church REFUSED. They hire the most prominent lawyer at the time HV Pereira QC. He in his wisdom knowing their was No Gifting, No Ceding, No MOU, dredged up a then obscure piece of law, known as prescriptive rights. As fate would have it the Justice presiding was Justice MFS Pulle – an uncle of these 2 hapless Advocates. He summoned them and asked – what they thought they were doing! Stating – this would put the entire family against the Church! He had that ultimate sword of damocles – the fear of “excommunication”! and without recusing himself for being directly related to “the family” ruled ‘questionably’ that the Church had a prescriptive right! Those properties would today be worth a billion rupees!
Faith & Race, Church & State are questionable entities!
Sorry Michael this has become long winded.
One’s karma has him heading for the Asuchi dwellers domain – the Dunny and the other avoided being blocked from going to heaven (excommunicaion) by ‘gifting’ someone else’s property!

Another reader focused on the term Burgher: I used to tease one of my classmates in Oz, calling him “Burger-Meister De Roon”! (Sorry Nihal I’m sure you wont mind Buddy!) AND I used to work & live inside Galle Fort, corner of Main & Middle Street – when at the PB Regional Off covering an area from Alutgama to Kataragama. Used to do an early morning barefoot run on the Ramparts. I even picked up the slack at the Galle Poly, lecturing to 1st year Diploma in Accty students for 6 months, when a lecturer went AWOL. Lecturing in Sinhalese! When all my life I was in an English medium classroom.
    QUOTE:
“The terms burgher and burgermeister share a common Germanic root centered around the concept of a fortified settlement and its residents.
Root: It derives from the Proto-Germanic root *burgz, meaning a “fortified settlement” or “fortress”.
    Historical Development:
Middle High German: Burger, from Old High German burgāri, meaning an “inhabitant of a fortress”.
Middle Dutch: Burgher, which also refers to a resident of a burg (city or castle).
Social Context: Historically, a burgher was a legally privileged, property-owning citizen of a chartered borough. This distinguished them from the rural peasantry and the nobility, forming the early “middle class” or bourgeoisie.

    Etymology of Burgermeister
Burgermeister (or Bürgermeister in German) literally translates to “master of the citizens” or “master of the borough”.

Structure: It is a compound of Bürger (citizen/burgher) + Meister (master).
Meaning: It is the Germanic equivalent of a Mayor, serving as the chief executive or magistrate of a town or city.
Dutch Influence: The English term “burgomaster” is specifically derived from the Dutch version, burgemeester.

    Specific Regional Meanings
Sri Lanka: The term Burgher refers to a specific ethnic group of mixed European (mostly Dutch, Portuguese, and British) and local ancestry.
South Africa: In historical contexts, Burger was used for enfranchised citizens of the Boer republics.
Pop Culture: The name “Burgermeister Meisterburger” is a redundancy used for comedic effect in the 1970 holiday special Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, essentially naming the character “Mayor Master-Citizen”.

PS: my own grand-daughter 17/18 is applying for a TON-MEISTER.
its a 4 year deg in Sound Engineering.

    NOTES
The transition from a “burgher” in medieval Europe to the “Burgher people” of Sri Lanka reflects a shift from a legal class status to a distinct ethnic identity.
    1. Legal Rights of Medieval Burghers
In medieval Europe, being a burgher (or burgess) was a specific legal status that granted residents of a town significant privileges compared to the rural peasantry.
Self-Administration: Burghers lived in towns governed by charters—legal documents granted by a monarch that allowed the town to manage its own affairs, such as collecting taxes and raising its own defense.
Freedom from Serfdom: There was a famous German proverb, “Stadtluft macht frei” (City air makes you free). If a rural serf escaped to a town and lived there for a year and a day without being caught, they legally became a free burgher.
Economic Monopolies: Only burghers typically had the right to practice a trade or join a guild. They controlled local markets and were often exempt from the tolls that outsiders had to pay.
Judicial Rights: Burghers were often entitled to be tried in their own town courts rather than by a feudal lord, providing a more predictable and localized justice system.

    2. The Burgher People of Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka, “Burgher” evolved into an ethnic designation for the descendants of European colonists (primarily Portuguese, Dutch, and British) who intermarried with the local Sinhalese and Tamil populations.

    Origins:
Portuguese Burghers: Descended from 16th-century Portuguese settlers. They are largely Catholic and some still speak a form of Portuguese Creole.
Dutch Burghers: Descended from employees of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) who stayed after 1796. They traditionally belong to the Dutch Reformed Church.
    Cultural Legacy:
Cuisine: They introduced famous dishes like Lamprais (rice baked in banana leaves) and Breudher (a Dutch-style yeast cake).
Music & Dance: The popular Sri Lankan music style Baila

  9. NANDANA GOONEWARDENA

I just saw all this only today 1st May, 2026. Wow! to think that I have been the attention of so many “intellectuals.”
Those who have been on MRs blog or bog will remember I left his blog politely staring that I had nothing more to gain from it. Yes, very politely, with a confidential letter to MR. But, MR decided to make my leaving public and went on to ridicule me in a long article, which I find are hallmarks of his personality. And, I left for good. But, MR being the vicious person he is, suddenly landed challenging material on my email, which he had no right to because I had parted with his blog years ago. Naturally, he invited hostility from someone who had never wanted to know him after his public ridicule of me citing, dirty as he is, a confidential letter I had written to him explaining why I was leaving his blog, the main reason being that I came to a point where I had nothing to learn from his blog anymore.
All you critiques of me are reminded of MRs unsubstantiated criticisms of Anagarika Dharmapala. Notably, MRs article in the Sunday Times of Sri Lanka in which he claimed that the Amagarikas social work conflicted with hid serial desires. This prompted Professor Karunasena Koditueakku to bring this up on parliament asking whether MR knew the Anagarika’s psychiatrist to be able to make such a unsubstantiated and vile statement. Professor Kofituwakku also asked who the Editor of the Sunday Times was knowing that he was a Catholic. Religious hatred was a part of MR who had other scathing attacks on the Anagarika, and this Catholic Editor not only published MRs article gleefully, but also made fun of the case when a Buddhist monk self-emolated himself in Tangalla in protest of the slaughter of cattle, where this religiously paranoid Editor asked in his column why monks don’t set themselves on fire when hens and locks are killed. Do you see the religious hatred espouse by this Editor as well as MR.
Now, when I look at those who have commented very adversely on me, I find a marked similarity. Can any of you claim to be Buddhists? Join the MR, Editor Sunday Times bandwagon!
I end with one observation on MR. Despite being a Rhodes scholar at Oxford, many years of teaching experience at both the University of Peradeniya and the University of Adelaide, and what are, termed a plethora of “research publications” why did he have to retire just as a, Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. I am sure some of you know that good universities assess research for its exact name -RE SEARCH. When it is realised that the aim is nor real research but a predetermined agenda of hostility and conjecture, one loses out on promotions. That is not all. The personal qualities of the person is also taken in to consideration. ,egoistic, selfish, argumentative personalities are abhored and considered bad examples on peers and students. This, no amount or personal advertising and advertising by others on behalf of the person will convince astute and impartial judges. That my friends is why, bitter as he is, MR never made it beyond a Senior Lecturer.
MR tries to quote from Buddhism to condemn me. Before doing that why MR did you have hatred towards Anagarika Dharmapala,,and to quote from the Buddha too, hatred leads to what,MR? Please complete the sentence for me.
MICHAEL ROBERTS,, YOU STILL HAVE HATRED TOWARDS ME. YHAT IS WHY MANY YEARS AFTER PARTING COMPANY WITH UOU, YOU STILL DROP SOME VILE IN MY EMAIL ACCOUNT. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PENETRARTE MY EMAIL ACCOUNT, AND SHOULD YOU ONCE AGAIN COME WITH YOUR VENOM TO MY EMAIL ACCOUNT, I SHALL CONSUDER LEGAL ACTION AGAINST YOU.
EVEN ANGODA OR MULLERIYAWA WILL NOT TAKE A SATAN LIKE YOU. RECENT PHOTOS OF YOUR S WHICH I LOOKED UP NOW, SHOW,A LIVING CORPSE. STAY THERE WITHOUT INTERFERING IN OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES. AS A HOBBY GO TO THE CRICKET MATCHES WHERE YOUR INCLINATIONS ARE WITH THE AUSDIE FIELDER AT THE BOUNDARY LINE, AND OPPOSED TO THE TWO SRI LANKAN SPECTATORS. I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU DID A WINDERFUL JOB OF NARRATING IT IN SOMETHING CALLED ‘A COFFEE WITH MICHAEL ROBERTS’ AT A THINK-TANK OR SHOULD I SAY ‘THINKING WE ARE,A TANK’ CALLED ‘ADVOCATA’ IN SRI LANKA. ONE MORE UP YOUR SLEEVE, MR!

  10. NANDANA GOONEWARDENA

Looks like MR immediately aborted my response. Anyway, I saw,all this only today, 1st May, 2026. For all of you who got a mental orgasm criticising me to the hilt, just look what is common amongst all of you? I mean, religion-wise.

  11. NANDANA GOONEWARDENA

I LEFT MICHARL ROBERTS BLOG SOMEWHERE IN 2023, AFTER WRITING A POLITE PERSONAL LETTER TO HIM AS TO WHY I WAS LEAVING HIS BLOG, CITING AS THE MAIN REASON THAT I FOUND THAT I WAS NOT LEARNING ANYTHING FROM IT. BUT, MT BEING WHO HE IS, PUBLISHED MY LETTER PUBLICLY IN HIS BLOG AND RIDICULED ME USING EVEN CARICATURES.
ANYWAY, I HAD FORGOTTEN ALL THIS AND GOT ABOUT MY LOFE, WHEN MR SUDDENLY SENT ME A EMAIL INVITING A BLACKLASH.
ANYWAY, TODAY, 1ST MAY, 2026, I SUDDENLY SAW,ALL THESE HOSTILE CRITIQUES OF ME, AND MY SCHIZOPHRENIA AND ANGODA STATUS. I FIND THAT AMINGST MY CRITICS IS C R DE SILVA, WHO HAS OBVIOUSLY NOT FOLLOWED THINGS AS THEY UNFOLDED IN THE BEGINNING. BUT, I GUESS A RESURRECTED C R DE SILVA ALSO AGREES WITH MRs SUNDAY TIMES,ARTICLE SOME YEARS,AGO AS TO HOW ANAGARIKA DHARMAPALA’S RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL WORK CONFLICTED WITH HIS SEXUAL DESIRES. C R DE SULVA THIS IS RESEARCH, OK? I GUESS PROFESSOR KARUNASENA KODITUWAKKU SHOULD NOT ONLY HAVE ASKED MR WHETHER HE KNEW THE ANAGARIKA’S PSYCHATRIST BUT ALSO ASKED THE SAME QUESTION FROM C R DE SILVA. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS C R DE SILVA, AND LEAVE INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO AT ONE TIME HAD A GOOD OPINION OF YOU, ALONE.
