Here, he begins by stating:  “In the time it takes to read this article, two more Russian soldiers will be killed”, without providing a shred of evidence to substantiate his claim. Based on leaked US military documents in April this year, the reality is that in the time it takes to read this article, 14 Ukrainian soldiers would have been killed. You’d have to read the article many times before a Russian is killed.

Dr. Enakshi Sinniah Reaches Young Noble Laureate Heights

An University of Queensland News Communication, 23 March 2023 with this title “UQ researchers selected to attend 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting”

Two University of Queensland researchers have been selected to attend the 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany in June.

Dr Enakshi Sinniah from the Institute for Molecular Bioscience and Dr David Klyne from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences will join 635 young scientists from around the world at this year’s event, which will focus on Medicine and Physiology.

Established in 1951, the prestigious event offers a valuable opportunity for early-career researchers to learn from and network with 40 Nobel Laureates and to exchange knowledge and ideas.

The Anzac Story: Rushing into the Fields of Slaughter?

While the mass slaughtering of, and slaughter by, soldiers, is always a touchy subject of commemoration, a tension has existed between those who did the fighting, and those who ordered it.  Comfortably secure in furnished rooms and battle props, planners would, as they still do, draw up the blueprints, concoct the strategy, and give the orders.

I am honoured to stand before you to talk about Eric Roles, who has dedicated a large portion of his life to the Willetton Junior Cricket Club and the improvement of young cricketers going through the ranks. As a coach, Eric has coached Willetton Junior Cricket Club teams since the 2012/2013 season therefore accumulating in 11 years of coaching, 10 of those without having a son or grandson in the team, a testament to his unwavering dedication and service.

Australia is Now a Lapdog of USA & UK

Last week, amidst a great deal of pomp and ceremony at a San Diego, California naval base, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signed off on the AUKUS submarine deal with the United States and the UK.

Penny Wong Ties Australia’s Strings to USA’s ‘Cavalrymen’

Guns Blazing! Obama on the American Warpath

Obama has been in Sydney and Melbourne this week wearing his dark cool shades, dazzling his many female followers, and giving speeches which earned him a couple of million dollars just enough to pay for breakfast at Tiffany’s. He was in Melbourne yesterday, picking up another million, while dazzling his audience with his analysis of the world. Yep, you got it. It was one of those “China is the bad boy – the US is the good boy” speeches.
 A NOTE from Thuppahi:
The highlightonh emphasis is my ntervntion …nad let me note that “X” resides in the ANZAC world of Australia-New Zealand and therefore has to secure (hopefully) his security.

Prsessures on Sri Lanka: Weerasekera’s Analysis in Lucid Prose

By pure chance I came across a paperback book of 280 pages published by Dharshan Weerasekera via Sarasavi Publisher in 2020 that is entitled Sri Lanka’s Future Challenges and the Quest for a New Constitution. Further searches indicated that he had received university education in USA and had published a battery of books (now listed in Thuppahi at ………….. https://thuppahis.com/2023/03/24/dharshan-weerasekeras-array-of-essays-and-books.
