High-stakes Standoff in West Asia: Will Trump bomb Iran?

Desert Wanderer, whose incisive & startling READINGS have been subject to highlights from the  Thuppahi ‘pen’

The US War against Iran could start in the next few days. The US has deployed over 60% of its air force, two US battleship fleets, and a number of submarines to the Persian Gulf. That is a massive build up of military power. The US isn’t doing that to join Muslims to celebrate Ramadan.  The US doesn’t bring that amount of weaponry into a confined space to have a Hello Kitty party, and eating apple pie.
Israeli Knesset Member Almog Cohen says the month of Ramadan, when Muslims all over the world are fasting, is the ‘best time to kill’ the people of Gaza because they’re weak and tired’….. See middleeastmonitor.com/20240326-the-ramadan-is-the-best-time-to-kill-them-theyre-weak-and-tired/ He called on Netanyahu to invade Rafah and kill them all. By ‘all’ he means all Palestinians.

The US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says it would be fine for Israel to take all Middle East land.  And those dumb Arab countries that continue to side with the Americans and Israelis – meaning the Emirates,  Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Syria – are going to allow it to happen.
See Tucker’s interviews with this slimy American worm Ambassador Mike Fuckabee.
https://www.facebook.com/tuckercarlsonTCN/videos/mike-huckabees-shocking-defense-of-his-meeting-with-americas-greatest-traitor-i-/1657921778699655/ Fuckabee declared,  “Israel is a land that God gave, through Abraham, to a people that he chose. It was a people, a place and a purpose.”
Trump didn’t call him on which means he agrees.  In other words, Arab Muslims have no right to be there, and need to move elsewhere, maybe to India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Iran and Yemen are the only countries standing up for sovereignty and for the Palestinians.  Sunni Arab nations only talk. Palestine has become more than a Hamas issue; it has now become a defining existential moment as to whether Israel dominates West Asia, or whether Arab countries can be independent and represent their own people and interests. If no Arab country fights for that, then those countries are effectively supporting Israel’s and the West’s plan to kill all Palestinians, and take control of all of West Asia, which Ambassador Fuckabee says would be the right thing to do.
So, Israel’s goal is to first destroy Iran, and then after that demonize Sunni Arab countries in order  to take control of Jordan, Lebanon,  part of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran,  in the quest for the “Greater Israel” project.
Netanyahu wants regime change in Iran: the goal is to install an American puppet government subservient to Netanyahu. He wants to destroy Hamaz, Hezbollah in Lebanon,  and Ansar Allah in Yemen, so Israel can reshape the entire West Asian region as it wants.
China and Russia have warships and submarines near the Persian Gulf, and are there to protect their interests. So who knows how this will play out. Trump is trapped. He can’t back out: he is too heavily invested in this war. If he does stand down, the Israeli lobby will be furious and they will punish him, withdrawing all financial support.
Iranian cartoon exhibition
While there could still be an off-ramp to avert this war; that option is a very slim one.
Statements from the Omani foreign ministry that negotiations between Iran and the US are going well, may or may not be true, but what is true is that Israel won’t allow the negotiations to succeed.
There is a possibility that this war could go nuclear and be global,  which means you won’t need to search for it on Google,  the war will come to you.
So, stock up on popcorn and coke, get a pad and pen, sit back, and take notes.

‘Desert Wanderer’ may well quote an extreme Far right Isreli politician but the fact is Israel is the ONLY country in the area where muslims, Bahai, Ismaili, Christians and others live in peace, can vote, have representation in parliament. (reminds me of Singhalese politicians in the 1980s and 1990s who repeatedly claimed tamils had no place in SL and should ll be expelled) This must enrage this ‘journalist’. Remember that many israelis are descendants of the approx 600,000 Jews expelled from neighboring muslim states, incl Almog. Interesting how his apparent obsessions led from a possible US/Iran conflict to a far right Israeli no longer in parliament. Even more interesting and telling is why you chose this article from dozens of other, moderate ones on the distressing and dangerous Middle East situation.

David Wei’s claims are a pathetic excuse to dismiss a far-right Israeli politician whose views are actually widely held across Israel. While he may not be in parliament, he doesn’t need to be, as other extremists have taken his place and their influence is growing.

Wei’s assertion that Israel has a diverse population of various religious groups is a vast exaggeration that misrepresents reality. As of 2026, the Christian population in Israel stands at only 1.9%. Furthermore, approximately 650 Bahá’ís reside in Israel, all of whom are foreign nationals rather than Israeli citizens. There is no local Bahá’í population among Israeli citizens, and the community is prohibited from proselytising within the country. Since they cannot vote, what ‘freedom’ is Wei referring to?

A substantial segment of Israel’s Muslim community lives in Jerusalem, yet frequently faces exclusion from the Al-Aqsa Mosque—the third-holiest site in Islam. This tension is exacerbated by nationalist factions and prominent politicians in Israel who openly call for the mosque’s replacement with a Third Jewish Temple, a movement gaining significant political traction. The recent circulation of AI-generated videos showing the mosque’s destruction has further inflamed the region, drawing sharp rebukes from Arab leaders and the Palestinian Authority. David’s failure to mention these critical facts reflects a biased and inaccurate perspective. Israel is not a democracy and is certainly not fair to its Muslim population.

His claim that Israel is the ‘only country in the area where different religious groups can vote’ is blatantly false. West Asia is home to numerous diverse racial and religious communities. For example, Jordan has a small but vibrant Christian community, while Lebanon and Iraq host multiple religious groups. In Iraq, Christians, Yezidis, Sabi’a Mandeans, and Shabaks all have the right to vote. In Iran, Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians also vote and even have reserved seats in parliament; Jews do, in fact, live in Iran. Across almost all of West Asia, different religious groups are entitled to vote. You should stop spreading the disinformation that only Israel allows this. Your information is false; a simple Google Search would confirm this. You should not elevate Israel by spreading falsehoods that misrepresent the rest of West Asia.

In a democracy, where every voice deserves to be heard, why are you urging this Thuppahi fellow to silence mine? You suggest that Israel cherishes democracy and religious freedom—even for its smallest communities—yet you personally fail to set that example. In this regard, you have failed the litmus test.

The thrust for war is driven by Israel.
History has witnessed the inherent corruption within a weaker State weaponised for the benefit of the stronger.
The reverse is HISTORY in the making!
No TAIL ever wagged a dog so HARD!

Characterizing Desert Wanderer’s single, context-heavy mention of the politician as an “obsession” is inaccurate. Desert Wanderer provided a neutral account, mentioning the right-wing extremist Israeli politician only once within a specific media report. In contrast, David Wei’s disproportionate focus on that single mention suggests his own fixation. He is cherry-picking minor points to create a diversion and steer the conversation away from Desert Wanderer’s central arguments—a distraction tactic to avoid addressing the critical matters actually presented.

A coalition of 14 Arab and Islamic nations has now issued a joint statement through their respective foreign ministries to strongly condemn remarks made by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. The 14 nations that signed the joint condemnation are:

    • Bahrain
    • Egypt
    • Indonesia
    • Jordan
    • Kuwait
    • Lebanon
    • Oman
    • Pakistan
    • Palestine (Palestinian Authority)
    • Qatar
    • Saudi Arabia
    • Syria
    • Türkiye (Turkey)
    • United Arab Emirates (UAE)

The statement, which was also supported by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Arab League, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), described the remarks as “dangerous and inflammatory” and a “flagrant violation” of international law and the UN Charter. The nations reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories or other Arab lands in West Asia.

Mike Huckabee has set the Middle East on fire with his words. The damage is so great that it will be extremely difficult for Trump to undo it. This is a pivotal moment in Arab history.

The mask is now off. Israel’s and America’s plans for West Asia have now been made explicit: West Asia belongs to Israel. The 400 million Arabs in West Asia must now pack their bags and leave to make way for West Asia to become “Greater Israel.”

Australia will have to absorb as many as 70 million refugees. Ideally, they should be resettled in Pauline Hanson’s electorate, ensuring the end of the One Nation Party and the creation of a vibrant new pan-Arab Muslim Australian movement. Hanson shouldn’t mind this; after all, she likes wearing a burqa.

David Wei completely missed the mark, trading substance for a pointless sideshow about a radical Israeli politician and some trivial talk on voting rights.

What a great idea Ambassador Huckabee to advocate for Israel taking control of all of West Asia. I can see you are man with a great vision for Asia and Australia. So, bring it on, and Make Australia Great Again!
