Why has the “Uygher genocide” narrative fizzled out? … ………….. AND why is it that when a real genocide takes place in Gaza, the majority in the West is in denial? It’s a fair question. These two guys discuss Xinjiang with regard to this line of questioning……………
A good point is made about the small band of Uyghers that are propped up by the US, who have come out in support of Israel: a bit strange, even amazing, given that the Uyghers are supposed to be Muslims.

A TANGENTIAL ADDENDUM:
The latest “Democracy Perception Index 2024” from the Alliance of Democracy in Copenhagen reports American and Western influence in the world has declined sharply, while Russia and China have Gaines more influence particularly with the Global South who trust China and Russia and prefer to work with these countries rather than the West.
The report makes for depressing reading from a Western perspective, but reads great from a China, Russia, Iran, and Global South perspective.
So alarmed are the authors, and in such a panic, they urge drastic action to reverse this trend, but what we see coming from the West over Gaza is actually accelerating the decline of the US and the West in favour of a multipolar world. How depressing this must be for the Western elites.
This leads the authors of the report to resort to the use stupid language like “the Axis of Autocracies”, a textbook propaganda slogan deployed to demonize Russia, China and Iran. That is nonsense. The US, UK and EU are the “Axis of Hypocrisy.”
