The Boers in Ceylon

The British found it conveneient to place their captured Boer POWs in Ceylon. Thuppahi presents some bibliogrpahical refrences relating to this ‘story,’ while embellishing the lsiting with some striking photographs that resulted from the event.

    The Boer soldiers who were captured by the British were brought to Diyatalawa. There is a memorial with some of their names situated close to Fox Hill.
