Maureen Hingert was Secretary to the Marketing Director of Nestle’s , Mr. Wailes, in 1960/1961. She was extremely polite & helpful to members of the staff. National soccer players, T. O. M. Deen, M. M. Hashim Deen & Andrew Fernando etc & M. Izzeth Ahmed, son of Proctor Markar of Fort, Galle , & later Ambassador to Saudi Arabia , were among those who worked for Nestle’s during that time.
Yes. She was at Nestles where my brother-in-law Egerton Canagasabey was the Advertising Manager.
I can remember her so well!
Happy reminiscing!
Thanks Michael.
Does anyone knows where she lives now?
Oh my god Michael!! I have no memory of this as I was only 7Y old. However, I remember my elders talking about middle classy things although my father was in charge of the account-books of the LSSP free of charge. He was a card-carrying Marxist!
In July 1970, Hingert divorced Zamparelli, and in 1976, she married William J. Ballard in Los Angeles, United States.[2] Ballard died in 2012. It says she lives in Los Angeles, USA.
