The school’s historians and stalwarts may face have some difficulties in addressing the capacities & legacies of the Rajapaksa clan if the claims presented below have solid foundations.

Anonymous in Action – All Hidden Assets of the Rajapaksa Family in Sri Lanka Released on the Dark Web!
The globally renowned Anonymous hacker group has released a special document to the internet, revealing the assets and hidden wealth of the Rajapaksa family in Sri Lanka.
Earlier, the Anonymous hackers announced via their official Twitter account that they had given the Rajapaksas 14 days to step down from power in Sri Lanka. They warned that if the Rajapaksas did not comply, all their hidden assets would be exposed.
Accordingly, the 14-day period given to the Rajapaksas ended yesterday (21st). Following this, at midnight local time, the Anonymous group released a special document to several well-known Dark Web sites.
The document, titled “R-S Papers By A,” consists of two sections.
The first section reveals investments made inside Sri Lanka using the money the Rajapaksa family allegedly amassed illegally. The second section shows investments made outside Sri Lanka.
The total investments mentioned under both sections amount to billions of dollars, shedding light on what happened to the country’s vanished dollar reserves. The Anonymous group obtained all the data by hacking into national financial records, offshore bank accounts, and secret websites. Many international financial organizations are reportedly alarmed by the contents of this document.

Perera & Sons (PnS) – A restaurant chain across the country, with a 500 million rupee investment by Namal Rajapaksa.
Richie Tea – A tea production business, launched by Chamal Rajapaksa with a 35 million rupee investment.
Melwa Cement – 60% ownership by Basil Rajapaksa.
Pyramid Wilmar – The largest operating company in Sri Lanka, run using the Rajapaksa family’s funds.

Ministry of Crab – A globally famous Sri Lankan restaurant chain, with a 40% stake held by Namal Rajapaksa, in partnership with cricket players Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene.
Kolamba – A restaurant, with 70% ownership by Yoshitha Rajapaksa.
Busy Bean Cafe – Another restaurant where the Rajapaksa family invested their wealth.
Rythm and Blues (RNB) – A luxury nightclub for VIPs in Sri Lanka, with a 200 million rupee investment by Rohitha Rajapaksa, who also obtained a liquor license.
Camera.lk – A camera shop chain across Sri Lanka, invested in by the Rajapaksa family through Wimal Weerawansa.
Helakuru and Hela Pay – Leading IT companies in Sri Lanka, launched by Rohitha Rajapaksa through an 80 million rupee investment via Dhanika Perera.

Shares in the Newcastle Football Club in England – A 420 million dollar investment with Saudi princes.
Diego Island in Seychelles – Purchased by Rohitha Rajapaksa for his wife, valued at 60 million dollars.

According to this analysis, the wealth stolen by the Rajapaksas is estimated to be around one trillion dollars. In Sri Lankan rupees, this amounts to approximately 1.05 quadrillion rupees (1,050,000,000,000,000 LKR).

Publishing a list of names of businesses, shops and restaurants as well as to allege they are owned by the Rajapakse family and therefore they are crooks is really not acceptable in any court of law or even in any public forum.
For Sri Lankan’s to accept such “allegations” as credible clear evidence of wrong doing by the Rajapakses’ would require :
a ) proof that these businesses are owned by the Rajapakse family, and
b) that undue political/personal influence and political favours were obtained by members of the Rajapakse family, to start as well as to carry out these businesses.
Those who accuse the Rajapakse’s of having used their positions to enrich themselves at the expense of the state should produce more credible evidence than publishing a list of names of the Rajapakse family kith and kin easily available in the phone books.
Furthermore, to say that because some members of the Rajapakse family are involved in politics does not mean that another member of the same family -(given that in Sri Lanka we have large families) cannot do business in Sri Lanka.
I would expect the purveyor or purveyors of this story to provide more credible details which others can also refer and and form their conclusions.
“According to the bottomline of this analysis, the wealth stolen by the Rajapaksas is estimated to be around one trillion dollars.” That means the Rajapaksas have a Networth well above Elon Musk, the world’s richest person who has yet to reach over $850billion.
Conclusion: Absolute poppycock unworthy of a duplicate publication by a Rhodes scholar of blonde and blue eyed ilk or even a self-confessed humble Thuppahi!
The inclusion of such globally respected, reputed eminent cricketers such as Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene as money laundering restaurateurs for the alleged Rajapaksa heist is deplorable blasphemy. If legally challenged by competent Lawyers on defamation and libel, even Thuppahi, may be deemed a Respondent.
It reminds one of a similar defamatory innuendo against my old school St Aloysius College, Galle in the 1960s. Rumour had it that the school boarders’ dormitory was next to the resident international Catholic priests’ residences and was the honeypot for an alleged “network of international paedophiles”! That was another horrendous canard such as those flying around these days against Buddhist priests.
Human depravity in attempts at libellous defamation can spread across the slums unto national ivory towers too!!
