Nahil Wijesuriya, the wonderful former student who gave 300 crores to the school where he studied .These days alumni of schools across Sri Lanka are talking about the record donation made by Nahil Wijesuriya, a Kandy Trinity College [product]. That donation was 300 crore rupees (3 billion). Nahil Wijesuriya, a leading businessman in Sri Lanka, is a wonderful man who lives very relaxed. He has a great bond with the Trinity School which laid the foundation for his success [and is a person]  who loves Kandy.

This Nahil gave 100 crores (three billion) to build a heart surgery unit at Ridgeway Arya Children’s Hospital Colombo about two years ago. Those who sucked it asked him about 64 crores. Unless he knows that the relevant work costs more money than that according to the estimate. Not because the money is high.
Nahil is a long way through the East West trade group who starts his life as a navy engineer. And I once told that he owned several hotels in Colombo main level also let the profit sold by this business to build the children’s hospital.
In a talk about this, I asked Mr. Nahil how did you make up your mind to give money? He replied why I’m saving money if I’m confident that I can make money. He said this about a donation he made to Trinity College long ago…… ” 30 lakh rupees was needed for a work on Trinity ground. At that time, my Santake had 33 lakhs. I gave 30 lakhs out of it.”
Nahil Wijesuriya, who lived near the land where Kandy Sewana Hospital is a historical charity in Sri Lanka. Heartfelt congratulations to this wonderful business leader who gives free lunch daily for fifty to sixty sixty.
