Desert Wanderer … with highlighs imposed by The Editor, Thuppahi
It’s official. The US lost the war against Iran, as reported in The New York Times and The Atlantic. Any newspaper that says it was a stalemate is simply spreading propaganda.
It is astonishing that a country like Iran, with a modest military, could defeat the US—which deployed three aircraft carriers to the region, tried to destroy Iran, attempted to decapitate its leadership, and sought to execute a regime change operation, only to fail on all counts and push the global economy to the brink of catastrophe.
Iran won the war. The US and Israel lost. It is not a small loss; it is a major strategic defeat for the US and Israel. This war marks a turning point, signaling a significant decline in Western power.
While the war has ended, it is not over yet. The MoU signed only means that in the next 60 days the US and Iran will negotiate a final agreement. The US will try to use this time to assert its influence over Iran to bring it under its wing, but Iran has all the cards. Iran is now a major power in the Middle East. Israel isn’t.
However, Israel remains a key player in this conflict, and they do not want Trump to succeed in ending the war. The critical question is whether Trump will be able to rein in Netanyahu, who has no interest in halting the war—and if so, how? If Israel attempts to sabotage the peace deal between Iran and the US, which appears highly likely, will Trump finally abandon Israel?
And with all this going on, the Epstein investigation has been filed under the carpet…….
Henry Kissinger once said US is not going to be the most powerful nation for ever. What a prophesy?
Atlantic’s editor Jeffery Goldberg served with the IDF. According to ‘FAIR’ the NYT has enabled Israel’s policies since its inception.
Palestinians are invariably “killed in clashes” while the Israeli is nearly always “murdered by terrorists”. Besides the deferential language, the NYT relies heavily on official Israeli government sources.
When biased media sources flip decisively, their motives should attract keen scrutiny. Is ‘peace’ being framed this way to shift public opinion?
NYT – ‘President Trump lost this WAR.
Arch Zionist Kagan writing in the Atlantic- America looks like a paper Tiger.
Americans are the most propagandised people on Earth. They are also the most jingoistic! Rubbing their noses in a diplomatic compromise sold as a defeat is preparing the groundwork for an Israeli reignition.
Americans will be informed that Israel has helped restore the honour lost in the Trump administration’s capitulation to terrorists.
Right now, according to Haaretz, Israel is pouring tens of millions into managing narrative control in the US.
