JFK’s absolute belief that the President ran the US got him killed.
A confluence of ‘deep state’ interests would not be denied.
Attorney General Robert Kennedy had the FBI”S J Edgar Hoover in his sights. Hoover, a closet gay, had blackmail material on nearly every important lawmaker.
The Military Complex were incensed that Kennedy employed diplomacy, instead of the FORCE they demanded, during the Cuban missile crisis. .’ Look. At the end of the war, if there are two Americans and one Russian, we win!” (qtd. in Kaplan [1983] 1991,
-General Thomas Power. Kennedy was convinced he was crazy.

Kennedy wanted AIPAC registered as a foreign agent to stop them buying Congress for Israel’s benefit. And he wanted to stop them acquiring the BOMB. He set an inspection regimen on DImona, the nuclear facility the Israelis told him was a carboard factory.
And lastly there was LBJ of Texas where Kennedy was killed.
His and his owner’s ambitions were realised! Israel got to develop the bomb and buy Congress. LBJ even covered up an Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 that killed or wounded 200 odd US sailors. LBJ swore the survivors to secrecy on pain of court martial.

Robert Kennedy had to be stopped from investigating his brother’s murder!

This was a sad saga in the history of United Staes at that time. I think the “mob” was involved. Robert Kennedy , the brilliant brother of John Kennedy also lost his life. The US really missed out being denied the leadership of Robert Kennedy as the next President.

Speculation about a MOB organised hit did do the rounds. The Warren Commission would have jumped at the chance to lay it on the Mob were it all possible. The prospect of the American political establishment protecting the Mafia from punishment for such a heinous act was zero..
