Hot Press: Ukraine on the Backfoot in War with Russia

An Observer in A Black Sea Town …. with highlights and a title imposed by The Editor, Thuppahi

Kazakh authorities in Kazakhstan have called on all citizens to leave Odessa and Kharkov which suggests Russia will soon take these two strategic cities. Once Russia takes Odessa,  Ukraine will became a landlocked country, and will no longer have access to the Black Sea.

Map of Ukraine.

A few months ago, Blinken, Biden, Nuland, Kirby, and all the other drips that follow them, boasted that Ukraine had regained 50% of its territory. It was a lie,  divorced from reality as Ukraine is in fact losing more and more territory each day. Ukrainian villages are falling to the Russians each day.
The US government follow one policy which is: “Admit nothing, deny everything, and make counteraccusations.”
Once Russia takes Odessa, without access to the Black Sea, Ukraine will no longer be able to attack Crimea with drones.
We see Ukraine collapsing each day. They are sending pregnant mothers and 70 year old men to the front line.  That’s how desperate Ukraine is, which explains why Ukraine has turned to asymmetrical warfare, which includes carrying out terrorist attacks inside Russia.  It’s not reported in the West, but Ukrainian raiding parties (with support from the British SAS) are blowing up trains,  railway tracks and bridges inside Russia – a sign of their desperation.
Once Russia takes Kharkov, Ukraine will find it difficult to continue sending raiding parties into Ukraine to conduct minor sabotage operations.
