Today, we learn what I’ve known for years: that the CIA have spent billions in spreading anti-China propaganda to stir up trouble in China and with countries dealing with China, thereby seeking to topple the government of China and destroy its economy. This propaganda campaign included pushing fake stories that the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative [BRI] was a threat to the world, that China would use the BRI to take over the world, that China would militarize ports they had built as part of the BRI, such as in Hambantota. It was all lies. It is now confirmed that Trump ordered the CIA to bad mouth China’s infrastructural projects, which has caused tremendous damage around the world, costing trillions of dollars to the US in damages, destroying relationships around the world, and for what?

Every article that has attacked the BRI, Huawei, Chinese made cameras, fridges and cranes, as well as the fake story claiming China is operating thousands of secret police stations around the world — all of this propaganda has been directed by the CIA on the orders of President Trump.
Those who have spread these stories are unwitting dupes of the CIA, effectively unpaid CIA agents, Trumpian puppets. This assertion on my part includes those who have repeatedly claimed Chinese infrastructural projects in Sri Lanka are a “white elephant”, or pushed the fake “China debt trap” narrative — all lies, and part of this costly and unnecessary CIA propaganda war against China.
The CIA destabilised Ukraine. The CIA destabilised Syria. The CIA tried to destabilise China. What is the American government doing? The CIA is supposed to be “an intelligence agency,” ….. not a “Global destabilising Agency.”
If you come across a news story badmouthing China, you can have absolute confidence the story came from the CIA. The best thing to do is stop reading these stories and not to spread them.
It is not just “fake news” that needs debunking, but the ever increasing “fake scholarship” on China published in Western academic journals and books.
