A =ISSUES with the MOBILE PHONE
This is a remarkable tale of TELSTRA failures amounting to persecution of a couple in their mid-eighties.
We …. Shona & Michael Roberts … are in our mid-80s and have been with Telstra for a longtime. My (Michael’s) mobile number for decades was 0418 669 586.
THEN, recently this mobile number was forcibly changed by TELSTRA to 0439 212 777.
B = WITH LANDLINE remaining = 08 8278 5773
NOT ONLY THAT: when we seek to receive incoming calls that have been recorded on the landline, we have to enter a PIN NUMBER viz 764 392 …. A task no one else in our circle of friends must follow.
MORE: from about ten days back incoming calls on our landline contain two beeps …then cut out!!
C = when we reached a Telstra operator last week, she tried valiantly to sort this out. But …. After 10-12 minutes of effort, the operation came to nought.
C+ = When we visited the Telstra shop in the Marion Shopping Centre, ADELAIDE they said they could not resolve this issue and indicated that the best course wd be to get a Telstra technician out to our home.
C++ …. Today 21st February I managed to get at Telstra lady operator on the mobile …and she wanted me to get on WHATS APP — which is a medium I cannot cope with…..while our efforts by normal route came to nought.
