Gaza War …. Widening Warfront with More Participants?

Fair Dinkum sends Thuppahi some ‘NOTES’ that suggest such a course

* Take note of  a few recent developments in  News items (below) that suggest that  Israel’s plan for Gaza isn’t going as well as they say.
The Axis of Resistance is preparing for war with Israel.
* The  former head of Mossad has condemned Netanyahu over Israel’s utter destruction of Gaza and the lives and livelihoods of Palestinians.

* The US has lost control of the situation in the Middle East and doesn’t know how to get out of the mess they have helped to create. Some in the US government argue the way out is to attack Iran; Israel plans to attack Lebanon (with US and EU support), and still the Neocons want a war with China. USA is destroying its own values and has no credibility in the world. It is now isolated and on the road to fast becoming a pariah state.
* The US is also not doing so well in its attempts to assert US hegemony throughout the Pacific. Sogavare, Head of the Solomon Islands, says that when a foreign leader visits the White House, all you get is a lecture, whereas a visit from a Chinese delegation brings one a school, an airport, roads, improved telecommunication systems. Sogavare also hints at attempts by Western agents to undermine his government.

* King Abdullah of Jordan is a big disappointment. He has surrendered too much of Jordan’s sovereignty to Western interests, especially the US, Israel and UK, and so he just repeats the same statements without taking any effective measures, and he is out of step with his people.  If he is not careful, he may be overthrown.
