A THOUGHT: Is that the problem with the South? Monsters emerge every now and then?
BUT THEN even elephants encounter problems with crocodiles whether giant crocs or not!

This is not the largest croc found in Sri Lanka. There was one at the verugal ferry near Vallachenai that was much bigger (32 ft. nose to tail) It had taken and killed over 18 people and the G.A had a board set up announcing the danger, and offering a Rs.5,000/= reward to anyone who killed it. So many reputed hunters went there with their powerful rifles, but failed. It was finally killed by someone. I read in the National Geographic about largest croc killed in the world (17 ft) and wrote them about the Verugal croc. The wanted evidence to publish it and I contacted the Trinco Kacheri, but the idiots had not recorded the find.
