THAMILINI freed from detention ….. returns to family and Paranthan… Dies of Cancer, October 2015

THAMILINI 33 LTTE’s Women’s wing leader Sivasubramaniam Sivahami, alias Thamilini,  yesterday vowed that she would never join a terrorist organization as she had  learnt a bitter lesson in life after joining the LTTE. “The security forces re-habilitated me and taught me to be a good citizen and  in future I will be a good citizen and live an exemplary life,” the former  terrorist leader said.

THAMILINI speakingAs she bade farewell to her colleagues, at the rehabilitation centre, to  leave for her home at Paranthan, Thamilini said that she wanted to get married  and live a happy life after settling in her village. “I am indebted to the army who re-habilitated me and helped me integrate into  the society once again after teaching me what is right and wrong,” she said.

She left for her village in Paranthan with her mother, sister and several  nieces.

Thamilini dies in cancer
Thamilini alias Subramaniam Sivagamy former political leader of the LTTE women wing has died due to cancer in the Maharagama cancer hospital. She has been inflicted with cancer and undergoing treatment at the Maharagama cancer hospital. She was 43 at the time of her death….. http://lankanewsweb.net/news/item/1074-thamilini-dies-in-cancer
