LTTE’s Women’s wing leader Sivasubramaniam Sivahami, alias Thamilini, yesterday vowed that she would never join a terrorist organization as she had learnt a bitter lesson in life after joining the LTTE. “The security forces re-habilitated me and taught me to be a good citizen and in future I will be a good citizen and live an exemplary life,” the former terrorist leader said.
As she bade farewell to her colleagues, at the rehabilitation centre, to leave for her home at Paranthan, Thamilini said that she wanted to get married and live a happy life after settling in her village. “I am indebted to the army who re-habilitated me and helped me integrate into the society once again after teaching me what is right and wrong,” she said.
She left for her village in Paranthan with her mother, sister and several nieces.
