Cast your eye over this Truth Social post from Trump. He openly states, “When oil prices go up, we make a lot of money.”
Who exactly is the “we” here? It is not the United States; it is the wealthy oligarchy surrounding Trump. They are warmongers and Zionists who relish a war that is pushing oil prices to record levels.
Trump then claims the most important thing is to stop “an evil empire, Iran, from having nuclear weapons and destroying the Middle East.” While his first statement admits to profiteering for his circle, his second is blatantly false. Iran does not have nuclear weapons and, as his own intelligence agencies have repeatedly stated, is not seeking them. Furthermore, the US and Israel initiated this war, not Iran, which is acting in self-defence under the UN Charter. The true destroyers of the Middle East are Netanyahu and Trump; that is where the evil lies.
