I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share that our team has now completed all video coverage and written reports for every Phase 1 initiative of our Cyclone Ditwah emergency response. Rather than sending these updates one by one, we felt it would be more meaningful to bring everything together in one place for you to view at your own time.

We sincerely apologise for the slight delay in sharing these updates. Our teams in Sri Lanka have been facing ongoing internet connectivity issues and power outages, while at the same time remaining fully engaged on the ground with Phases 2 and 3 of our emergency response.
At Vanni Hope, we strongly believe in transparency and accountability. We want you to feel confident about where your donations are going, and to see firsthand how your donation goes further with Vanni Hope through our community-based teams and local networks. This is why we have made a conscious effort to document and share these updates in detail. Our team has put a great deal of time and care into compiling the written reports, photos and videos, and I truly hope you are able to go through them.
Phase 2, and even elements of Phase 3, of our cyclone response have already commenced, and we will be communicating those initiatives with you shortly.
