A proud moment for Dr. J. Kajeeban from Kilinochchi, who has successfully graduated with a Final MBBS degree from the University of Colombo.

Congratulations to Jasinthan Vijayakumar, a recent graduate from the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, who has successfully completed his BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Finance.

Hailing from a humble background, Jasinthan’s father works as a daily wage labourer while his mother is a homemaker caring for their family of four children. Despite immense financial constraints, Jasinthan remained focused on his academic goals. With the help of Vanni Hope and the generous financial support of Sharmini and Thea Theagarajah, he was able to continue his studies and graduate with distinction. After the tragic loss of her father in 2016, her family relied solely on her mother’s modest income from a garment factory. Despite these hardships, Pirabashini remained steadfast in her pursuit of justice and academic excellence. Her graduation is a testament to her strength and the empowering impact of educational support.
