- His first sentence, “I had no idea till now Penny Wong is stupid.” That is Bolt’s argument. The phrase “Islamic terrorists” is wrong.
- Wong has not rewarded Hamas by pushing for a Palestinian state. If you look at the positions of the US, UK and Australian Government, all support a two-state solution.
- Bolt claims Wong’s stupidity is contained in her statement that a two-state solution, recognizing each other’s right to exist.
- There was no survey of Palestinians in Gaza claiming 41 percent believe “Hamas’ terrorism works’. How could a survey be carried out when all Palestinians are living in refugee camps. Where’s the evidence that (1) the survey exists, and (2) that the question posed to Palestinans was: “Do you think Hamas terrorism works?”
- Bolt’s statement that the “Islamist group forbids any state of Israel and that its charter calls Israel’s existence “illegal” is patently false. Hamas revised its Charter a few years ago and their Charter does recognize the right of Israel to exist. It is Israel that forbids any state of Palestine to exist, and Netanyahu and other Israeli’s leaders have affirmed an official policy that totally rejects a state for Palestinians, and demands a new Greater Israel whereby no Arabs/Palestinians are permitted to live. Bolt’s hypocrisy here is extraordinary – and it is clear he cannot raise these facts to consciousness. I would never say, “I had no idea till now Andrew Bolt is stupid” because I have always known Andrew Bolt is stupid.
- The claim “there is no role for Hamas in a future Hamas state” is delusional. Hamas cannot be defeated. There are around 40,000 Hamas fighters deep underground in tunnels, supplies of food and ammunition to last 7 years. The IDF has just withdrawn from Gaza. They are defeated and have now embroiled themselves in a perpetual insurgency that will last for years.
- Bolt’s claim Wong has given Hamas a huge propaganda win is false for reasons of 3 above. What Bolt is doing here is to give the terrorist state of Israel a huge propaganda win.
- Gaza has been a concentration camp since 2008 so it is not ripe for elections, but other political parties do exist in Gaza and Hamas works with them.
- Bolt has no understanding of terrorism. He confuses the legitimate resistance of a movement to an occupying power as terrorism.
- If the British hadn’t interfered into the Middle East with their grand plan for a new Western state that would act for their interests in the ME, which occured at the end of WW1 by using Arab nationalists to defeat the Turks only to betray them immediately afterwards and then carve out a colonial network of states, –we wouldn’t be having this conflict today.
This piece of propaganda is the main problem in the world today, spreading disinformation, propaganda and lies that sinks deep into the consciousness of Australians.

I have no means of ascertaining or denying “Adrian Bishop’s” information &position on the present details of the Gaza and Palestinian situation. However, I have a solid background on the temporal processes in 20th century world politics. For years I have held the view that it is one of the tragic ironies of history that the Allied Nations in World War One used their imperial position in the world to create a haven for the European Jews in a manner that has generated a Hitler in the Middle East (Netanyahu) directing a Nazi-like state!
Of course this does not mean that Hamas et al are genial souls. The problem with heightened and prolonged conflicts is that both sides … nay all sides …. become somewhat similar to each other.
