Covid takes down IPL: League suspended indefinitely after multiple cases in bio-bubble
Following the rise in number of cases among the players as well as support staff, the decision to suspend IPL 2021 was taken unanimously by the league’s governing council and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at an emergency meeting.
