In November 2025, a devastating cyclone swept across Sri Lanka, severely impacting the Southern, Eastern and Hill Country regions. Floods and landslides damaged homes, schools, universities and critical infrastructure, leaving families facing loss of income, displacement and food insecurity. Although immediate relief has begun, many communities continue to struggle as they work to rebuild their lives.
On 8 March 2026, Kana and Yun will lead a 10km charity walk in Jaffna, walking from Sanguveli Temple to the Vanni Hope Head Office, joined by members of the Vanni Hope team in solidarity. Funds raised through this walk will go towards repairing and rebuilding damaged shelters across Sri Lanka, restoring livelihoods, providing free cataract surgeries, and supporting vulnerable communities such as children and pregnant mothers affected by the cyclone. Your support will help families move from crisis towards stability and hope.
எதிர்வரும் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, 08 . 03 . 2026, மலேசியா திரு. கனகராஜா துரைராஜா அவர்களும் சிங்கப்பூர் திரு. சியாங் கோக் யுன் அவர்களும் வன்னி ஹோப் (Vanni Hope) அமைப்பின் பணியாளர்களுடன் இணைந்து மாணிப்பாய் மருதடிப் பிள்ளையார் கோவிலிலிருந்து யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் உள்ள வன்னி ஹோப் ப் (Vanni Hope) அலுவலகம் வரை சுமார் 10 கிலோமீட்டர் தூரம் நடைபயணம் மேற்கொள்ள உள்ளனர். இவர்கள் கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக இலங்கையில் மனித நேயப் பணிகளைத் தொடர்ந்து வழங்கி வருகின்றனர்.
இந்த நடைபயணம் பற்றிய செய்தியை உங்கள் உறவினர், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ளவர்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து இச் சேவைக்கு நன்கொடைகள் வழங்கி ஊக்கமளிக்குமாறு தாழ்மையுடன் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.
